ONE HOUR GUIDED SEGWAY FUN-RIDE
For those of you who have been wanting to just try it out, this is an economical way to get in on the fun! We will spend approximately 15-20 minutes of the hour getting participants helmeted and trained. Most people have the hang of it and feel ready to go within the first 10 minutes on their Segway. Our guide will review some very important instructions with the group and then lead you for the next 45 minutes like a row of little ducklings through the southern part of our uptown area (by the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the Convention Center, through The Green park over to Charlotte's newest museums and cultural event spaces, then zip on over to the Bank of America stadium, by the Panther's practice field area and then head back.)
BASIC SEGWAY TOUR (INCLUDES OUR HISTORIC FOURTH-WARD NEIGHBORHOOD!)
$50.00 per person (1.5hr)
This tour is for those of you who want a little more time on your Segways and also have interest in hearing about some of Charlotte's fascinating history and enjoying its diverse architecture. We will spend about 15-20 minutes getting participants trained and ready to go, review some important instructions and then head out for over an hour of “Follow the Leader.” We will start with riding by new museum and cultural spaces in the southern end of Uptown and then ride towards the middle of the city and hear a little history on how Charlotte came to be. This tour includes a ride over to our hidden Historic Fourth Ward neighborhood where the oldest homes in the city limits are located. This is a charming little neighborhood with a handful of late 19th century Victorian-style homes and the oldest cemetery in the city. You also get to see our high-rises and skyscrapers up close, as well as see numerous outdoor fountains and public works of art. Tour duration 1.5 hours.
EXPANDED SEGWAY TOUR (EVEN MORE TIME TO RIDE AND MORE SITES!)
$60.00 per person (2hr)
This expanded tour lets you really get the most from your Segway ride. We see all the sites that are in the one-hour ride and the basic Segway tour (above). In addition to those sites, we take you through Elmwood Cemetery and over to College St. near the Hearst Tower, our Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Uptown Charlotte's hot -spot for nightlife - The Epicentre. You also hear about Charlotte's history at certain places along the way, and a few more tidbits of why Charlotte is surely becoming the hottest city in the Southeast! Tour duration 2 hours.
SPECIAL RESERVATION TOUR (ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED SEGWAY RIDERS)
$70.00 per person (2.5hr)
We sometimes need about a 3-4 day notice to schedule this tour, and it is only for participants who have been on Segways before (who won't need training). We head outside the city for about 2 hours to see two beautiful tree-lined historic suburban neighborhoods (Dilworth and Myers Park) and see some of the more hip and lively spaces of either Southend Charlotte or the Plaza-Midwood Neighborhood. This tour takes more focus and confidence on a Segway because we go along some major streets for long stretches, and there are so many fun distractions along the way. On this tour, we can see the gorgeous Duke Mansion and stop for a quick snack at the original Common Market. We may even throw in a surprise or two!

If you are happy with the services provided by your local guides and drivers a tip - though not compulsory - is appropriate. While it may not be customary to you, it is of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry. Please consider this when budgeting for your extra expenses on this tour
