Van Tours

Charlotte NC Tours provides three different ways to guide you around our beautiful city and share our history, culture and sites:

1. Private City Tour

   "We show you around like you’re our company in town." For our "van" tours, we do small, more private tours by reservation only (parties of 2-5 people). If you want to see and experience Charlotte like a local, THIS is the way to go. Our unique approach to touring Uptown Charlotte and the surrounding neighborhoods lasts approximately 3 hours. We make stops along the way and see (among many other places) inside the oldest church building in the city, a historic mansion, and end with an opportunity to indulge in a special treat at an authentic French bakery. Days and times are limited. Call for availability.
   
   

   THE CHARLOTTE NC TOURS "FLEX" TOUR. We’ve created a tour that gives you the feeling that you are "our company" in town, and we’re proudly showing off our city while you ride in heated/air-conditioned comfort with roomy leather seats and vista windows above your head. We take you inside special places that you might not otherwise see on your own. You’ll see Charlotte’s hip and historical areas, ride down the oak-lined streets of our city’s most affluent neighborhood and hear the little known stories that will leave you feeling as knowledgeable as a local. We do stop and go inside at least three places on our city tour, so if mobility is an issue for someone in your party, please discuss this with us when you call to check availability. The cost of this tour is $60.00 for adults, $55.00 for Seniors, and $30 for children 6-12. We do not provide child safety seats nor do we advise this tour for young children due to its duration and number of stops.
   
   

2. Group Tour

   We provide professional step-on guides who will meet your group and board YOUR bus (or van or coach) to provide a city tour. We can work with you to fill up any amount of time -- from a quick overview of the city with no stops or an extended, more comprehensive tour with a few stops. We can even customize the content and route of the tour to highlight specific interests such as local African-American history or architecture. (Advance notice required. Step-on guides are provided at an hourly rate.)


3. Charlotte NC Tours can work with you to provide a guide AND transportation for a group of 6 or more. We provide an inclusive package with a guide AND transportation for your group for the duration of the tour. (Charlotte NC Tours can also work with your group leader to make transportation arrangements for all your activities while your group is in Charlotte.) For groups of 6-12, we can make arrangements for a passenger van tour of the city. For larger groups, we can arrange tours of Charlotte on a shuttle bus or on a full-size coach. Let us know what you want to see and how long you would like your tour to last, and we will customize according to your interests and schedule! (Advanced notice of 72 hours required. Asheville / Biltmore

Located 2.5 hours from Charlotte, Asheville is the Home of the Biltmore Estate. Tour Biltmore, home of George Vanderbilt. Tour the grounds and taste the local wines. Asheville is also home to a growing artist community. Experience the music, the galleries and variety of great restaurants.

Yadkin Valley Wine Tours

Tour North Carolina wine country. The Yadkin Valley has over 350 vineyards, many of which produce wines that rival other key wine making regions. The wines are made from several varieties including the muscadine -- the ingredient in the first North American wines. Yadkin Valley is also home to some outstanding restaurants.
