Arts and History Walking Tour

We will take you on a tour of the historic 4th Ward and learn about Charlotte’s early history. From there we will board the light rail and venture to Charlotte’s first industrial area, South End. You are in for a surprise. This neighborhood has transitioned from its early roots as a cotton mill and supporting industries area to a vibrant living area.

We will walk along the rail trail and enjoy the art installations. After taking in the sights and history we will board the train and head to Charlotte’s “Arts” and entertainment district. This is a diverse and happening area. After taking in these sites we will board the light rail and return to Uptown. The tour will end at the 7th St Public Market where customers can shop and lament about your experience.
